Over 35k applicants for 15,000 RTE seats

Pune : Today Last Day To Fill The Forms

Over 35,000 applications have been received for over 15,000 seats available in schools to fill the 25% reserved seats under the Right to Education Act, 2009. Thursday is the last day to fill the forms.In schools where the number of applications is more than the number of seats available, seat allocation will be done through a draw of lots, said officials. Cut-off date for KG admissions to be extended to September 30

Mumbai : In a move that will ease admission worries for lakhs of families, the cut-off birth date for school admissions in the state is being pushed from July 31 to September 30. The education department has already made the change for admissions to seats reserved for economically deprived sections under the Right to Education Act, 2009 and is in the process of extending it to other students. COIMBATORE: The Union government will tweak the Right to Education Act to include definitions of learning outcomes for Classes I to VIII within three months, Union minister for human resource and development Prakash Javadekar said on Saturday. Pune : The admission process to 25% seats under the Right to Education Act, 2009 for the academic year 2016-17 will start from December this year.

Pune: Against every seat in the 25% reserved quota in Pune’s schools, at least two students have applied this time under the Right to Education Act, 2009.
