Pune’s Akshat Chugh ranks second in JEE Advanced exam

The much-awaited results of the Joint Entrance Ex am (JEE) Advanced 2017, which were held on May 21, were announced on Sunday. Giving another reason for Punekars to cheer this year, Akshat Chugh from the city bagged All India Rank (AIR) second place by scoring 335 marks.Chugh lost to rank one holder Chandigarh-based Sarvesh Mehtani by just four marks. Results of SET exam to be out by August-end: SPPU

Pune: Officials of the State Eligibility Test (SET) Department at the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) said that the results for May 29 SET examination will be declared by August-end.

21% students from Pune division clear HSC exam

Pune: The higher secondary certificate (HSC) supplementary exam results declared on Tuesday were disappointing as the pass percentage slipped from 26% last year to 21% this time.

Pune: The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for Standard XI begins from June 1 and the process will continue till one week
after the SSC results are declared.

Over 20,000 final year (8th semester) engineering students from various colleges affiliated to Mumbai University (MU) are on the verge of losing job offers and admissions to foreign universities as MU has failed to declare the results even after two months, since the last paper was held.
