HSC students can fill online forms till Oct 21

Pune: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has extended the date for online form filling for Higher Secondary Certification (HSC) examination 2015 till October 21. Earlier, the last date for form filling was October 13.

Many had complained that log tables given by board had several errors

MUMBAI: In the approaching Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams, students will be allowed to carry their own books with logarithm tables (log books) for physics and maths papers. However, they will have to get the log books approved by their supervisors, prior to the examinations. The decision has been taken as students had complained that the log books supplied by the board during the exams conducted in February 2014 were riddled with minor errors. MUMBAI: With the Central Election Commission (CEC) announcing that the Maharashtra elections will be held on October 15, city schools and the state board are in a fix, as the poll date is clashing with their exams. Many students are now facing the possibility of appearing for exams sooner than they had thought.
