Raghuram Rajan frowns on ‘subsidising’ foreign education loans

MUMBAI: Calling for a re-think on easy credit, RBI governorRaghuram Rajan has said banks are actually subsidising student education loans for overseas studies under the priority sector lending (PSL) segment.

Mumbal: Governor Vidyasagar Rao on Wednesday told vice chancellors to work towards further improving the quality of education and to focus on skill development of youth.
