New Delhi : Responding to a growing demand from students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday re-opened the online application process for verificationrechecking of marks and obtaining photocopies of evaluated answer scripts of the Class XII board exams. While the date for online recheckingverification has been extended till June 27, photocopies can be obtained till June 30. The details will be uploaded on the CBSE website on Friday . AhmedabadChennai : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) told the Gujarat and the Madras high courts that there is no possibility of declaring National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET) result for UG-level medical courses on June 8.

Pune: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 board exam results online on Saturday. The results have registered a drop in passing percentage by 5 per cent as compared to the previous year. The pass percentage this year is 90.95, whereas it was 96.21 per cent last year. The divergence between the government and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) over the controversy of moderation of results has widened with the board’s decision to do away with re-evaluation of answer sheets.The ministry of human resource development and CBSE were not on the same page over the decision to do away with moderation -thereafter struck down by the Delhi high court -even though the ministry agreed various boards were “spiking“ marks. Pune : The National Eligiblity-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admissions to medical and dental colleges passed off smoothly in the city on Sunday . Nearly 50,000 students appeared for the exam from Pune and nearby areas.

Pune: ‘Modi’fied textbooks are soon to make its way in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) are likely to review and revise their textbook content and include Goods and Service Tax (GST) and demonetisation in the syllabus. The decision has invoked mixed reactions. Against 8,02,594 registered candidates last year in NEET-2016, 11,35,104 candidates have been registered for NEET-2017.

WITH AN increase in the number of candidates who will be sitting for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) this year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the addition of 23 more cities to the list of 80 existing cities where the examination is being conducted. Pune: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released a statement on Tuesday to all schools on details of examination and report card for Std Vl to Std IX from Academic Year 2017-18 onwards.  The move has evoked mixed reactions from parents, while principals of schools feel that this will affect project work and extra-curricular activities.
