The investiture ceremony of Rosary School, Warje was held on July 26 at the Yashwantrao Natyagraha, Kothrud. The ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic year. The students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and take charge of the responsibilities entrusted upon them. A new prefectorial body is formed every year, to inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give than a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility. Headmistress Sheela Prakash welcomed chief guest Admiral DV Taneja and Suraj Taneja with a sapling and the event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a spectacular welcome dance.

The new head boy Neeraj Kadam, Sumant VJ and head girls Siddhi Shinde, Vishwaja Rejurkar along with captains and vice captains were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with commitment, confidence and competence. The student council members were given badges by the chief guest along with the headmistress and chairperson of the Rosary Schools and Colleges. The function included cultural performances like the Gujarathi, Bengali and Hariyani dances and a karate show by girls. The Kung fu show left the audience awestruck. The audience liked the lezim and a dance number from the movie ‘Jodha Akbar’. The choir added melody to the atmosphere with their musical notes. Vishwaja Rajurkar from class IX gave a solo dance performance. Deserving students with academic merit were felicitated with cups and certificates to motivate and appreciate them for their achievements. The chairperson congratulated the headmistress for her remarkable achievements and thanked her staff for the team efforts.
