70 educational institutes sans licences have ceased to operate; govt officials shirk onus to accommodate children, fail to establish exact data of pupils
Following the derecogni tion of 70 schools by the Zilla Parishad (ZP) and Pune Municipal Corpora tion (PMC), over 12,000 children are now bereft of an educational institution. Now, government officials claim that there are enough vacancies in PMC and government schools, but they have no idea of the actual number of students they have to accommodate. Pune : All schools, irrespective of the board or the medium, will have to put up complaint boxes.These boxes should be kept at a prominent place and must be opened every weekend by the principal in the presence of a police representative or members of Parent-Teacher Association.

MoA for Sainik School Satara inked

Mumbai: The Central and the Maharashtra government have signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) for financial assistance to Sainik School in Satara district.

Pune: In a bid to go digital in every aspect, Rotary Club of Pune Katraj Charitable Trust has completed the work of digitising all government-approved special schools in the city.
